Important information about the July 2025 update

On July 22, 2025, we'll roll out an important platform update to improve your gaming experience. Here's what you need to know:

How will my login process change after July 22, 2025?

• Your username and other identifiers won't change.
• We'll no longer support usernames with special characters like '+' or '-'. If this is the case for you, you can still log in using your email address.
• If your username is shorter than 6 characters or contains only numbers, log in using your email address.
• If your email address contains special characters or is longer than 50, we recommend updating it. This will avoid login issues.
• If your password contains special characters, please change it.
• You can no longer use the RSA Security Token. We’re working on new login security features and will keep you posted as they become available. You won’t need to take any action.
• If you still can't log in, please reach out to Customer Support for help.

What language options will be available for .IT accounts after the upgrade?

Only the Italian language will be available. The English version of the software will no longer be available.

How do I update my software?

When logged in, you'll need to update to the latest software version:

• Android: A pop-up message will ask you to download the latest APK file from the PokerStars website. Please follow those instructions.
• iOS: The app updates automatically. If the auto-update is off, an update banner will guide you to download the latest version from the App Store.
• Desktop: The software updates automatically. If not, a pop-up message will ask you to download the latest version from the PokerStars website.

What happens once I update the software?

You can log in and resume your games. Your account settings, payment methods and preferences won't change.

Here is what will happen with the Sports vertical:

• No new bets are accepted between 18th and 22nd July. The Sports website is under maintenance.
• Bets placed on events scheduled to happen while the website is under maintenance will settle under the Sportsbook General Rules.
• You can find the betting history while the website is under maintenance in the Account details, which remains available.
